A short break in the Belgium Ardennes together with good friends and nice beers... Fun it was, fun we had...

I went to the surroundings of Bastogne in the Belgium Ardennes with a friend. We visited many places and monuments regarding to the events that took place here some odd 65 years ago during WWII. Especially the visit to a very little village called Foy was nice. It was here that the 101st Airborne - 506 PIR - Easy Company fought against the German occupiers. A fierce fight against german panzers and SS troops engaged. Eventually was won by the the US troops. A beautiful day with lots of stories and nice dreamy surroundings. It was a guys thing... :)

On July 11th and 12th 2009 the annual Flying Legends Airshow was held at Duxford [egsu] -Cambridgeshire UK. A great show with many nice and special surprises. Great weekend!
