Welcome to my home on the web. My name is Martin Graeff, born in 1962, an employed IT professional and web designer in my spare time from the west of Holland. This site is where I present my work, my interests and the art I have created recently and in the past. Some parts of the content are well-known to many people since before, like the stuff on flightsimulator and some of the previous websites. But other parts are new, like the stock photos and the links presented here. Since I really love to work with websites, you can expect this site to be alive and active – and probably updated on a daily basis. If you are interested in any of the different content sections here, I suggest that you bookmark this site to keep yourself updated.
about the author
In my private life, I am an average guy who lives a calm and peaceful life together with my wife Marleen and son Tim (1999) in a small town in the west of Holland near Amsterdam (not too near). I enjoy the small and beautiful things in life, and I am not really a big fan of noise, action and stress. Although sometimes I indulge myself some Amsterdam night-life, albeit on a very modest way . But beside my peaceful private life I like to tinker away on the internet. On one hand it is an occupational addiction on the other hand it is pure fun and hobby. For my daily work I do some stuff concerning web-based applications in Oracle 10g+ environments in XML formats. 
I try doing some effort into serious flightsimming. And just trying new stuff. Explore new technologies and just enjoy things as they come by. I’ve found a good balance that allows me to hacking my way on the internet: this site… My intention with flyweb.nl is to take the best parts of my public life and present it in an interesting way – that still respects my private life. I have always kept my public life and my private life separated to avoid conflicts between the two things. I will continue to do that on this site by setting the focus on the content (the flightsimming, the photos and the art) and not on me as a person. I will probably post some kind of biography later on, but honestly, the content is many times more interesting than my life can ever be so the bio is not a high priority. However, as a regular site visitor, you will probably get to know me well anyway. If there is anything special you want to know about this website (or about me), just ask and I will do my best to answer. Thank you for visiting!
an introduction
Already the 6th web layout since 1997. This one is lighter (in loading) and more up to date. It is a WordPress based site with all the advantages you can imagine. The template makes extensive use of CSS, PHP and AJAX and is Strict XHTML 1.0 valid by way of the W3 standards. Hope you’ll find everything to your liking here. Time permitting I will update this site as much as I can. So bear with me on this one! View this site at a 800 x 600 screen-resolution for minimum results! On the other hand the site is viewable from a 15″ – monitor and up! Best to be used with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Although I can imagine some of you don’t agree . Also please look to the other browsers around. Such as Mozilla Firefox and Opera or Flock or Safari for Apple’s Mac.
what can you expect . . .
Flight Simulation and Aviation. This is the area were you’ll find everything you always wanted to know about flying and aviation but especially flightsimming but were afraid to ask! Lots of stuff to download at, most specially AVSIM.com and “Flightsim.com”. Nels Anderson’s site (Arcanum ). Ofcourse I’ll keep you informed about the latest developments concerning Microsoft’s Flightsimulator on their own web site MS Flightsimulator. Check out those screenshots here, it’s really amazing. In the menubar go to ‘interests’ where you link throught to news about the new forthcoming version of FS[X].

On the different pages you’ll encounter some of the more interesting sites found on the net, just one click away! Also I’ll try to keep you informed about the latest updates, news etcetera. When you browse through these pages keep an eye out for new software, patches and other goodies that you can download! The pages are ordered by category of interest and should give you an immediate piece of information concerning its contents.

Also you’ll find as much information and tutorials to make your home page equally interesting and entertaining. The newest information about CSS (Cascade Style Sheets), XHTML & DHTML (Dynamic HTML) , plugins whether for Adobe PhotoShop, Fractal Design Painter (formerly by MetaCreations now Corel) and other amazing programs.
